Fishing on Moose Lake is considered some of the best in the state. It's has the reputation of being one of Wisconsin's finest musky lakes, with a Class A rating. Wisconsin Sportsman magazine believes "Moose Lake may be the BEST walleye lake in the entire Hayward Area." Moose Lake also has healthy populations of smallmouth bass, crappies, perch and bluegill. |
| Fall brings out the incredible beauty of the Chequamegon National Forest surrounding the resort. Come and enjoy the amazing fall colors, or for the hunting. Hunting in the 800,000 acre Chequamegon National Forest offers uncrowded, low pressure trophy hunts for Whitetail Deer. Grouse are also plentiful, with the best shooting in October. |
