Big Bear #9 — Available Year Round
Modern loft-style log cabin built in 1996. Three story building with an open layout. Loft includes one king and two singles. Lowest level features master bedroom with sliding doors out to backyard. Sleeps 6 (1 K, 1 Q, 2 S) and includes 3 futond. Have the best of both worlds, your own private vacation home and the amenities of a resort.
Honeymoon Cabin #7 — Available May-October
Our most romantic cabin features one bedroom, one bathroom, fireplace and roomy deck. About 175 feet from the lake. Sleeps 2 (1 King) & Futon. Newly remodeled.
Virgin Timber Resort features 7 rustic log cabins with beautiful log interiors and stone fireplaces. Each is unique with its own personality. All are clean and comfortable accommodations overlooking Moose Lake. We are also pleased to offer 2 deluxe vacations homes for your home away from home.
Fireplace (except the Big Musky #10), television (4 cable channels) and DVD player are included in each cabin. Outside you will find your own personal barbeque grill (charcoal not provided), picnic table and some with private firepits. Dock slip will also be provided upon request prior to arrival for your boat or ours. Also included are use of all non-motorized boats. (kayaks, canoes, row boats & paddleboats) Motorized boats and motors available for rent.
Full kitchens include stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes and cookware. Bed linens are provided (please bring your own towels). Starter supplies of soap, paper towels, trash bags, coffee filters and toilet paper also included.
All cabins are rated for maximum occupancy. Additional guests must be approved prior to arrival and will be charged an extra fee. Peak season rates are mid-June to mid-August. Under 2 years of age no charge.
Off-Peak Rate Times:
- May 1 to Mid-June (excluding holiday weekends)
- Mid-August 16 to December 23rd (excluding holiday weekends & the Birkebeiner Ski Race)
Deposits
Deposits can be made by check or money order or credit card. For weekly stays, a minimum of $300 is required for Cabins 5,6,7 & 8 and $400 for Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, 9. Short stay deposit is one night's stay. The balance is due upon arrival. Credit cards can be used for payment of balance. Prices are subject to change. A 5.5% sales tax will be added. $50 will be added to any NSF checks. Please no early arrivals and no refund given for early departures. All cancellations subject to a $50 fee. No refunds given for cancellations during peak season unless they can be filled in their entirety.
